The life of the young Ekka was filled with bright events and dreams. As a 6th grade student, she managed to study and play football. Ekki was part of the school's national team, and the only person she refused to be friends with was Joep, a local bully and provocateur who, moreover, played dishonestly and constantly ridiculed the girl and her friends. However, the school year is about to end, and the children will go to high school, which means that friends will have to go their separate ways. <br />

But even in such a situation, Ekki was optimistic — she was sure that if she tried very hard and wanted to, relationships with boys and girls could be preserved.<br />
And one day, fate presented Ekki with a serious test. In another quarrel with Joep, they got into a fight, the girl fell and hit her head. Soon she starts to have nosebleeds and is taken to the hospital. The tests showed terrible results — Ekka was diagnosed with cancer. Now everything is completely different - wards, procedures, radiation, doctors and nurses, a huge amount of drugs and no school. All friends and relatives are in agonizing suspense, and Ekki herself is trying to hold on with all her might. She needs the support of her loved ones now, and, unexpectedly for everyone, it was Joep who was able to provide her with overwhelming moral help, being with her throughout the entire course of treatment.<br />
